One QR per table opens the day’s menu on the customer’s phone, with photos and in Spanish, Catalan and English. Nothing to install, and nothing to reprint when a price changes.

The QR menu is served from the same catalogue the POS works from, so there are never two menus to maintain. Put the set menu’s price up at the till and the customer’s phone already shows it; take off a dish that has run out and it disappears from the menu straight away. That is the real reason to have a digital menu rather than a PDF on a link: a PDF starts ageing the day you upload it, and ends up showing prices you no longer charge, which is worse than having no menu at all. There is nothing to reprint, nothing to laminate, and no sticker to put over the old price.

The menu runs in Spanish, Catalan and English, and the customer gets theirs without having to hunt for a setting. For a venue with tourists that removes the same conversation every night about what is in each dish, and for the waiter it removes the four questions that repeat at every table. The photos help more than you would think: a dish with a photo gets ordered more than the same dish described in one line of text. And because there is no app to install, it works on the phone the customer is already holding — point it at the QR on the table and it opens.

Half an hour, at your place or over video. We show it running on a demo restaurant, on your tablet and with your printer, so you can see how it works before you decide anything.
